A variety of workshops are available for both pre-service and in-service teachers.
Workshops focus on critical thinking, focused
inquiry, use of technology, and instructional density. Sherry's many years of experience and training come together
in her four-day Making Math Connections workshops, conducted for elementary teachers. Making Math Connections incorporates four specific connections: math
benchmark to benchmark (chunking content), math to appropriate use of manipulatives, math to technology, and math to literature.
Most are scheduled during summer break, but several schools have used
the four-day Making Math Connections workshops as ongoing yearly staff development.

“You can certainly tell you have been in the classroom at all levels of education. Our teachers

“Thanks so much for the great workshop. I was able to use several things in my room
during the last two weeks. The calendar activities were great. The children really picked up
on some of the patterns quickly. We also did some glyphs. They were fun!”
